AND SO…I TRIED TO REMOVE THE RUST FROM MY ALBUM…
I saw from one of the tumblr’s post about removing the rust and I tried it.Here’s what I did.
What you’ll need:
1.Lemon
2.Salt
3.Rag
Firstly,lay a rag underneath the metal casing
Then take a slice of lemon and rub it on the affected areas,spreading the juice.While doing that,rub the rust with the lemon peel.
Sprinkle salt n rub it GENTLY(!!!)
It may leave stains when the juice has dried up
But don’t worry,just rub it away.
Wipe it off IMMEDIATELY*(please refer to note below)
Clean up the mess!!LOL:P
* WARNING/ATTENTION:
DO NOT LEAVE THE LEMON JUICE AND SALT FOR MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR.I DIDN’T KNOW AND LEFT IT FOR TWO HOURS(some website told me to leave it overnight.fuckthatshit) and this was what happened.
It can be rubbed off but it leaves marks.I guess that’s an oxidation(correct me if I’m wrong)CAN YOU IMAGINE THE HORROR I GOT WHEN I SAW MY PRECIOUS BIG BANG ALBUM TURNING INTO SHREK?!
Now,I put the metal casing inside a ziplock bag.The other stuff(photobook,CD,that black audition note and family card),I put it away in another place.It’s the CD and the photobook that I treasure the most although the metal casing is super awesome.It’s a pity…
I guess we need to remove the rust as soon as it forms if not you’ll never know what will happen :X (Mine turned to shrek)
But then again,Shrek seems nice…More like it turned to Hulk.
So,VIPs who wanna get your rust removed,be very careful!!Learn from my mistake!
